Rise of Champions tournament structure
Rise of Champions powered by Spintop is a PvP game-mode tournament open to all players regardless of their skill level or owned game assets.
Tournament starts: 25.08.2023 15:00 UTC
Tournament ends: 27.08.2023 15:00 UTC
To enter the tournament players will only be required to buy an $5 entry ticket which will provide players with 10 battles per ticket.
In the Arena players face off against other random human players to battle for rating points. At the beginning of the battle both teams are provided with a random preset setup of Wizards & Consumables and battle is finished once all 3 Wizards in one of the teams are defeated.
Rating points are awarded to the winner based on the remaining percentage of health of the players' Wizards and number of Wizards alive at the end of the battle. Detailed Rating calculation rules are provided below on this page.
If a player is not satisfied with the total accumulated rating of 10 battles, player has the opportunity to improve his result by starting a new entry ticket of 10 battles. Player can purchase a new entry ticket at any time. However, purchasing another entry ticket without having completed all 10 battles will finalize the current tickets' score and reset the remaining battles. Every player has an unlimited number of entries. Highest achieved rating will be counted as players' overall score and will be presented on the leaderboard.
TOP 10 players will share the prize pool - $2000 worth of Essence.
TOP 20 players will receive an equivalent of Resources to level-up a single Wizard NFT to level 2 (TOP 20) or level 3 (TOP 10).
TOP 3 players will receive Wizard NFTs.

Rating calculation rules
A player is rated at the end of each battle based on the percentage of health his Wizards have remaining plus 35 points for each surviving Wizard. Also taken into account is the number of moves made to win this battle (the more moves made - the less points the winning player will receive). For example:
Players' team has 25%, 40% and 100% health left - giving a total of 165 points. All 3 Wizards surviving earns the player another 105 points. Their total score is 270 rating points.
Starting from turn 19* the winning player will receive -10% of the total rating points for every 6 turns. If a player wins the match in 36 turns and earns 270 points then his final result will be 270-30% =189. Rounding is done according to the classic rounding rules.
*using consumables is counted as a turn and included in the total number of turns.
